Having problems with Dayz Standalone?
First: Check that you meet the minimum requirements. I know that may sound condescending but that really is the first thing to check.
Minimum requirements for Dayz standalone currently are:
OS: Windows Vista SP2 or Windows 7 SP1 Processor: Intel Dual-Core 2.4 GHz or AMD Dual-Core Athlon 2.5 GHz Memory: 2 GB RAM Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce 8800GT or AMD Radeon HD 3830 or Intel HD Graphics 4000 with 512 MB VRAM DirectX: Version 9.0c Hard Drive: 10 GB available space Sound Card: DirectX®-compatible
Second: Have steam check for missing / corrupted files. Completely exit Steam Right-click on the shortcut which you use to launch Steam Select "Run as Administrator" Launch Steam again and continue to the section of this article titled "Verify integrity of game cache" From the Library section, right-click on Dayz Standalone and select Properties from the menu. Select the Local files tab and click the Verify integrity of game cache... button. Steam will verify the game's files - this process may take several minutes. Once the process is completed, the Check Window will automatically exit.
So your computer is good enough, you has Steam check for missing files and your still having issues ?
